All is as it should be...
Stay present 🙏🏻
Thank you all for providing comfort and support to me and to each other. These past months and weeks have been so hard, with our democracy under siege and the tragic loss and destruction from the LA fires.

On top of all that stress, our beloved George is gone, helped peacefully over the rainbow bridge this week. He was part of our Israeli dance company’s family. The heroic founder, Danielle Agami, rescued George from a roof top in Tel Aviv and he gave us 14 years of pure joy. It’s almost too much to take.

It’s funny how things work out. As we hurtle toward the disaster of January 20th, I’m grateful to be on a cruise ship in the middle of the Coral Sea off the coast of Australia, making new friends. It’s my 7th and final continent and first time diving the GBR.

The trip was planned long ago thinking we would be happily celebrating our first woman POTUS. Now, 16 hours ahead of DC time, with the fires under control, and trying to heal from so much loss, I’m planning on tuning out, at least for now, to give myself some much needed rest.
Sending a huge hug to help get through to greener pastures. Stay strong.
Love, Lolo
P.S. Floofles is safe and still comes every night for dinner, my trusty motion detector and remote dispenser providing for her. I’m convinced the Zen master comes more to reassure me than for herself.

I regret so much your losing George. It is so hard to get over losing an animal that loved you with all of its heart. The cruise may help. So sorry.
*HUGS* So very sorry for your loss, Lorraine. Hope you are well and that you're enjoying your cruise in spite of everything. Please stay strong. Sending love and light to you and yours.
