Scary. On a rental car. Yikes. Glad you both are safe and sound and that he knew exactly what to do to survive such a moment. No rush. Get yourself back home and comfortable and then do as only you can do!
That's our Idaho car that we keep up there. It's got like 100K miles on it, that back left tire had been giving us trouble, which is why we had recently had it checked. You just never know, no matter what precautions you take, Lisa! Have a peaceful Saturday my friend. 💗🫶🏻
LOL!! I stand corrected, Jonji, we are all proud of our brave girl! And good riddance to Aryan Nation, for now at least, I'm so happy to be home and chatting with my Floofy kitten!😻
LO- take that as a warning...I got one too...almost seriously got hit by a car with my husband...a hasty step indeed. Pulling back and reviewing-- Sometimes the day to day in these instances is pure gold...compared.
Oh wow. I am glad you made it through and I am loving that you made it to the airport with time to spare. 🥂 Mimosas definitely called for in that moment 💙
Thanks mom. I got some sleep, but only a few hours, waiting for Floofles. She finally showed up around 1:30 am and came in for her soup and a chat. But that little stinker still won't give me a snuggle. Grrr. At least now she knows I'm back home, so I'll be able to get a little more restful sleep. 😻🐈⬛🐾
appearing is floolies way of showing her love. she has it for you but she has lived a whole life of protecting herself roaming in some dangerous places. You are home to her.Just tell her Meow.
Good to see you home safe Lorraine! I had a Range Rover and I can imagine a flat with a heavy vehicle like that! Koodos to hubby:) Yes, the drinks look like just what the Doctor ordered!
Good point, Fraser, it's a big car with all kinds of fancy suspension. Honestly it was vibrating so strongly, we couldn't tell if the whole axle or suspension that blew or what. Amazingly just the tire. Phew. Have a lovely Saturday. Cheers!🥂🫶🏻
Thank God luck & skills were on your side! Blowouts are rare enough as it is today with little chance for "practicing." Glad you're both okay & of course happy about the raccoons paying a visit to Floofles, to say Hello.
Egad, what a mess that tire turned into. So glad you both came through that scare all in one piece. We just never know when something like that will happen. Pet the Floofs and sleep tight.
I guess you’ve heard by now that Lindsey Graham suffered a heart attack and is no longer with us?
Glad all is well. Life has a way, doesn't it? LOL the racoons!! It's definitely the baby wildlife time of year. I had EIGHT baby skunks plus the mom living under the slab of my garage. Cute but not cute. All have now been live-trapped and relocated, or they moved out. One neighbor said she thinks a few siblings moved to someone else's house. 🤷♀️🦨🦨🦨🦨🦨🦨🦨🦨🦨 Next there will be a skunk garage band on the block. 🤣Love to you and the Floof Factory!❤️😻
Blowouts at speed totally suck. The husband might be getting some calls about stunt driving.😂😂 After that, Wild Turkey would be justified. I see Floofles has some new friends. Glad you escaped from Idaho.😃😃
I’m glad you are safe!

Nothing worse than a blowout at speed. Props to Hubby and have a relaxing weekend.
Right, TC? It's so disorienting, not really knowing what's happening. Phew! Hugs!🥰

Lorraine Evanoff: WHEW!!!
Please, you and your husband -- Thank you, Sir, for clear thinking in a crisis -- PLEASE, both of you, take the time to recover.
THAT was a trauma.
You need explain nothing to us.
Take care of yourself.
Please.
We will still be here.
You will find us as eager, when you return.
Returning in peaceful mind and good health is returning in time.
Meanwhile, MEANWHILE, do I see right!
Does Floofles have a litter of Four?!
CONGRATULATIONS!
No wonder you say, "Well done, Floofles!"
What a happy event!
I add my appreciation for the successful outcome to your exhilarating experience. Been there, done that. Kudos to your stunt driver!😎🕊️
OMG! I’m so glad you both are alive and physically unharmed. Hope the cocktail helped. 🩷
