So I began my usual voter outreach…
Today, I texted TEN friends and family, including friends in the Hispanic community and Independents, in FIVE different states.
Although I do this before every election, I have NEVER received such an overwhelmingly positive response, even from some I was nervous about.
My message is some variation of the following:
Hi [dear friend]:
Have you checked your voter registration?
It can get messed up with address changes or changes to employment.
Last month, mine got cancelled after I added my address to a business checking account and I had to re-register.
Also, let me know if you need help with your ballot.
I’m a fairly well-known political analyst for democrats and have a lot of experience.
Please check your voter registration here🙏🏻💙👇🏻
Here are some of the replies that got me fired up:
FROM ILLINOIS:
“Yea, I'm all geared up! I'm excited for this election! It's extremely important.” (Busy working mom - Independent)
“thank you :)” (First-time voter)
FROM MONTANA:
“Yes I need to check that!” (Busy working mom)
FROM CALIFORNIA:
“Okay I will”
“Oh ok. I'll keep that in mind” (Hispanic community)
“I'm registered dem. Just double checked!” (Army veteran)
FROM FLORIDA:
“Yes! I’m registered. Excited! (Busy working mom)
FROM WISCONSIN:
“I’m all set.” (LGBT)
REMINDER: TODAY IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN six key states, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Montana, Ohio, and Texas, among others.
VOTE BLUE!! 💪🏻🌊💪🏻🌊💪🏻🌊💪🏻🌊💪🏻🌊💪🏻🌊💪🏻🌊💪🏻🌊💪🏻🌊💪🏻🌊
Timeline cleanse: FLOOFLES RETURNS!
You probably didn’t know this because I’ve been holding my breath for almost three months, since Floofles stopped coming.
But I felt she was still out there and she finally came back!

Yay Floofles!!! Not sure which warms my heart more...Floof or the replies and your outreach! 😹😻💙❤️💙🐾🐾🙌🏻🗳️🗳️
