Thank you for the invitation to join your sub-stack. I understand that 80% of our lives are spent in our heads, which resonates with my journey as a seeker of truth. My perspective is shaped not only by historical and visceral experiences but also by insights drawn from "granny wisdom" and deep dives into the meanings and practices of the Principle governing Life, Truth, and that often misused word: Love.
I read extensively, mostly non-fiction, and I have a collection of field journals filled with varied subject matter, saved for future projects. My approach to writing and thinking is intuitive, blending ideas and practices that I discover along the way. I thrive on learning new things and enjoy making them my own through experimentation and practice.
I use metaphors to convey deeper understandings; much like curating a living space, I navigate my mental landscape with intention. For me, the signs of our times hold more significance than the claimed "signs of the skies/stars" - that ancient prognosticators relied on -, guiding my understanding and perception of reality.
As familiarity grows within the community, I look forward to the authenticity that will naturally emerge. In the meantime, Peace, Harmony, and Prosperity for all.
Glad to see you play golf or flog whichever the case may be. I loved it; played a couple or three courses in California when visiting. Glad you had a good day. Happy Valentine’s Day to you too Lorraine.
Lord Lorraine, “flog” for golf has got to be as old as I am. I started playing late but had an excellent teacher. Loved playing the game once I got better at it. My husband was an excellent golfer considering that he really only had one good arm. He always credited the game with saving his sanity after the really bad injury he sustained playing football. I liked the clothes and the new, permissible vocabulary myself 😉.
What a wonderful post, Lorraine. It was a labor of love for you to put those photos together. Message received! We need to Reach For Joy , not wait for it to come to us. I'm grateful for the intermittent connections I have with you. With love, (because we shouldn't waste it) Maggie in Omaha. 😘💐
That was my second shot, I drove it down that area because there was no way I could get it over the water below. So I was just trying to pitch it back into the fairway. Failed miserably. LOL.
Ahh. Understood. I'm lucky to live in a year-round golf area. The ducks were a special treat as we explored Mulhullond Lake and Mulholland Drive back from The Old Place. Floofles sends snuggles, Charles!
This is nice. I hope you enjoy this weekend too.
Thanks RR. You too!
You’re welcome. Anytime. Now I have to break for myself & my next project on here.
