The Party of Corruption and Treason

There has been overwhelming evidence of Republican lawlessness and treason for decades now. Democratic midterm messaging must re-brand Republicans from “the party of law and order” to the party of corrupt traitors. Let us count the ways.

Giving Aid and Comfort to the Enemy: Trump organized the insurrection of January 6, 2021, then pardoned all the traitors. Trump helped fund Hamas terrorists then coordinated with Netanyahu to commit war crimes in Gaza and illegally start a war in Iran. Trump’s Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to end his illegal war in Iran rewards our enemies, Russia and Iran. At the Pentagon Hegseth has been forcing out top officers making the U.S. military weaker.

Emoluments, Corruption, Quid Pro Quo: Trump illegally accepted a gift luxury airplane from Qatar. Trump accepted payments from Indian oligarch Gautam Adani in exchange for his DOJ dismissing indictments for bribery and fraud. Trump issued pardons in exchange for payments.

Securities Fraud: In addition to his ongoing stock market manipulation, Trump, who never uses a computer or email and whose preferred form of communication is his own social media app, must have secret deals. Trump was unbanned from Twitter after Musk’s illegal takeover, but Trump still never uses Twitter. Does Trump have undisclosed agreements with Truth Social investors that forbid him from using Twitter? Off balance-sheet transactions of publicly traded companies are strictly illegal under U.S. securities laws and a breach of NASDAQ covenants.

Illegal Destruction of Government Property: Bulldozing the East Wing of the White House and defacing the Reflecting Pool.

Election Interference: In violation of the 2^nd and 14^th Amendments, Republicans attempted to purge 67 million voter registrations. Trump’s Postmaster General David Steiner threatened to have USPS refuse to deliver mail ballots to any state that won’t hand over its voter rolls to the federal government. (Steiner was shot down by a judge).

Illegal use of the DOJ and SCOTUS: In violation of the 10^th Amendment, Trump’s DOJ has unlawfully used the grand-jury process. The SCOTUS ruling on Dobbs is a violation of our Constitutional 2^nd Amendment right to privacy.

There’s more. But I want to pause here. The fact that Kamala Harris didn’t trounce Trump after Dobbs proves sexism and racism are endemic in the USA, due to Republican lies. Even if Roe v Wade had been codified into law, the VRA was the law, yet SCOTUS overruled it.

The top three issues for voters are Republican corruption, abuse of power, and Trump’s illegal war in Iran. Democrats must campaign on this and reforming SCOTUS, which has enabled their corruption and White Supremacist agenda.

Pelosi waited for public opinion to force Trump’s first impeachment. Democrats have won 90% of elections since 2024. On November 3rd, public opinion will manifest itself as a blue tsunami. We’ve waited long enough. We won’t let Republicans go free like Nixon did. VOTE BLUE.

Just Floofles having dinner.

Tomorrow we’re heading to our summer place in Aryan Nation northern Idaho for hubby’s birthday, so Floofles will be on her own for a few weeks. The remote feeder is all set up and she already understands the assignment.

Send prayers of strength. I’ll be in the worst place in America for the 4th of July, but I’m boycotting it anyway. Keeping my heading down, and playing golf, a good combo.
