The Truth Will Out.

Republicans mastered the art of manipulation long ago through weaponized lies. But Democrats may have solved the messaging mystery with the ugly truth. It turns out, we may not need Russian bot farms, Fox “News” or extremist TPUSA-style networks, or billionaire run media to get our message across.
Republicans traded their platform for propaganda in 2016. But the lies are getting old now and they’re desperate. The latest lie that US Senate candidate James Talarico is transgender and not manly enough was a trap set up by Talarico himself. Tongue firmly planted in cheek, Talarico said he was “cisgender” and Republicans took the bait, confusing cisgender with “six genders.” Cisgender is a person whose internal gender identity matches the sex they were assigned at birth, so Republicans also exposed their own ignorance.
Then, in response to Stephen Miller’s Tweet claiming Talarico is “transgender” TheDemocrats replied, “shut up you ugly fuck.” That single Tweet completely hijacked the narrative. The DNC staffer, Paulina Mangubat, who posted the Tweet explained this as TheDemocrats’ new rapid response.
We must keep shining the spotlight on Ken Paxton’s corruption, Trump’s failing health. and the shocking images of ICE pepper-spraying US Senator Andy Kim who stood between masked ICE militants and protesters bringing attention to thousands of immigrants imprisoned under horrific conditions.
It’s also important to publicize the response from soulless Republican congressmembers who dismiss these incidents as political stunts. Of course it’s political. Republicans politicize and weaponize everything. Their dog-whistle lies work. But Democrats are firing back with the truth.
Since Reagan, Republican lies have convinced half of Americans that trickle-down economics and deregulation are worth sacrificing their own well-being. Meanwhile, with the GOP in total control, unemployment among blacks just skyrocketed to 7.3%. Under Biden/Harris, it reached its lowest in recorded history. Rent is skyrocketing due to unregulated private equity firms and AI collusion. The ugly truth is out, Republicans destroy the economy.
Not only are Republicans failing. Democrats are succeeding. Judges just tossed the Alabama the gerrymandered map and the Abrego Garcia and the Broadview Six cases, reopened Trump’s IRS lawsuit, and ordered Trump’s name to be removed from the Kennedy Center.
To succeed in the midterms, Democrats must target Latinos and Independents with ads telling the truth about how immigrants reduced US deficits by $14.5 trillion since 1994, and how Democrats are consistently better for the economy.
Democrats implement policies that provide affordable health care, increased pay, consumer protections, and build infrastructure. Democrats even have a strategy to investigate Trump administration corruption and claw back illegal payouts.
Gavin Newsom’s team set the tone by successfully hijacking Trump’s absurd messaging style. Activists like Elevate Utah are reaching voters by getting scumbag capitalists like Kevin O’Leary to unwittingly make their podcast go viral.
Democrats need to stop worrying about which messaging strategy will work. The answer is clear. Stay on the attack and expose Republicans for the losers they are.

Happy birthday, Lorraine! I couldn't agree more. The Dems must keep hammering home the truth of what Trump and his sycophants have done and are doing. Stay relentlessly on the attack despite the exhausting volume of daily outrages.
We need to start fighting for this country like we mean it. Like Andy Kim is doing. Like Mercado Media press was doing outside Delaney Hall. When two cops told the group, all tagged as PRESS, that they had to move back to a designated area, they all refused. It went back and forth for a few minutes but in the end they all stayed put. They made it clear that if police wanted to make it a story, they were all prepared to go live. We need this and more from all who care about what we truly stand for.
