My God, I am bereft of all illusions about our Nation.
We need to carry pictures and flowers in Memoriam for Martyrs including Renée Nicole Macklin Good and Breonna Taylor — another fine, good person whose loss fill my eyes with tears.
We must build coalitions on the Martyrs.

It just makes me more angry and want to fight more. Thank you for your strength and wisdom. This tragedy is so horrific. It seems planned. It's also surprising I'm the only one pointing out that Project 2025 is directly linked to keeping the Epstein files secret. But I feel it in my bones. They orchestrated this ALL in advance. Please stay strong. We need you. Hugs. 🥰
We were away from home for ten days, which sounds perfectly reasonable until you remember that at home we have three cats, two dogs, six birds, and one semi-feral outdoor kitty who considers us staff. By day four I was so profoundly homesick for the entire menagerie that I briefly considered abandoning Crystal in Maryland. I didn’t do it, obviously. But I did mentally draft the apology text and look up one-way flights, which I think shows remarkable restraint.
You are perfectly describing what I'm going through, Gloria! Floofles is literally sitting outside the back door in my camera right now as I type this. I called to her "I love you, you got this, Floofles," then I called to her from the other camera by the feeder and dispensed a little. She at all the food I dispensed last night. I'm so proud of her. But I'd still much rather be home with her!!
