That is fascinating. And that's just human language. I am working on a piece now about how animals communicate above and below the range humans can hear. I can only imagine what they are saying about us!

😆 Having spent years feeding and caring for feral cats and critters, it really does come down to food.

Lorraine Evanoff: Very moving story about language.

Languages of different people illuminate beauty and factors in life we are not conscious of.

As far as the Orange figure in the photo you enclosed, his moral compass is lost, indeed!

Armand! When I learned how this Australian society functions it was unforgettable. Indeed, there is so much to learn from so many languages. I'm amazed how many French colloquialisms are simply not translatable but are worth trying to understand. Thanks as always for reading and commenting!

I love this, but you really got me at Fata Morgana. That was the name of a friend’s restaurant in Nuweiba, Egypt where I used to hang out in the 80s.

Lorraine, I fear even more for other moral compasses and the results of the election. It brings to mind the poem by Ilya Kaminsky, 'We lived Happily During the War':

And when they bombed other people's houses,

we protested,

but not enough, we opposed them, but not

enough. I was in my bed, around my bed America

was falling; invisible house by invisible house by invisible house

I took a chair outside and watched the sun.

In the sixth month

of a disastrous month in the reign in the house of money

in the street of money in the city of money in the country of money,

our great country of money, we (forgive us)

lived happily during the war.

Lorraine this is a brilliant piece. You create not just beauty in your words but create an environment of truth.

Larry that recognition means so much to me. It's a constant battle against mainstream media's false doomsday narrative. We are mostly morally good and those of us who have well-honed critical thinking skills can help others to get back on the straight and narrow.

I agree that we are basically good. But some are too good in that they believe rather than look for themselves and fall susceptible to the one making the most noise instead of scrutinizing the source of the data. They become blind to the truth and cannot recognize it even when it slaps them in the face. We have to be super awake not just woke

Do you really believe that people are gullible? Or are they just lazy and not paying attention? To me that's much worse.

Politics has become like a sport. Folks pledge allegiance to their team right or wrong. And they root got their team. It’s nuts. I don’t get it. I have always voted for the person not the party.

You speak truth Alan! The polls by mainstream media are lies. Several of my favorite patriots on Twitter are pointing out that the real polls are the fundraising numbers. Today news came out of Biden again breaking fundraising records. These completely throw the polling numbers off course and out of whack. We know the way.

Ugh. That's absurd. Biden's campaign is knocking it out of the park. MSM is misrepresenting voters in their trumped up polls. A better indication of voters is Biden's massive fundraising that is dwarfing tRump's and the RNC's. That alone indicates a blow out. I wish people would stop repeating the fake doomsday mainstream media message. It makes voters lose hope.
