Republicans are acting like cornered animals. Pam Bondi turned feral during her House Judiciary testimony Wednesday as Ted Lieu savagely called her out for lying under oath, and Rep Jerry Nadler prompted her to wildly pounce from the Epstein Files to the stock market.
That’s rich considering this stock market is being pumped by a massive billionaire AI bubble. The same billionaires named in the Epstein Files. There will be no investigations into market manipulations or securities fraud, for now. SEC enforcement has declined 60% since Trump took office.
Meanwhile, Bondi’s frantic flailing gave Democrats fresh quotes to use in midterm campaigns, including, “They indicted Trump twice; they impeached him twice, and you, Mr. Nadler, were one of the leads on the impeachment.” Please proceed, Pam.
Yet, from the Southern Baptist Convention that installed Ronald Reagan, to the MAGA movement, billionaires keep investing in Republican extremism. Tech broligarchs have now taken control of mainstream news, after taking early control of social media. Billionaires heavily financed Facebook over MySpace, because Zuckerberg was malleable. He even renamed Facebook Meta, a little on-the-nose for their monopoly of the metaphysical realm, don’t you think?
Personally, I get my news through written word, i.e. Substack, and other independent sources. For entertainment, I tune into the Hallmark Channel, sports channels, or recordings of Perry Mason, which Hallmark doesn’t carry. So, I’ve been reduced to recording Perry Mason on the Great American Family Channel.
The channel was founded in 2021 by former Hallmark Channel CEO, Bill Abbott, as a so-called “faith-and-country-focused” alternative. Recently, a merger between Great American Media and Pure Flix created the Great American Pure Flix streaming channel. I growled when I saw the new ads. “Pure” Flix? Really? Why not just call it “Aryan” Flix?
The streaming service founded in 2015 was acquired by Sony in 2020. The company is a strategic partner of an apostolic organization, a “far-right Christian supremacist theological movement.” MAGActor, Mario Lopez signed a multi-film deal, etc.
This cannot be dismissed as a cult. It is cult-like, due to their own PsyOps, but it has compounded incredible power since the Reagan era. This self-righteous propaganda machine dismisses our outrage as Trump Derangement Syndrome, then deflects.
Their latest deflection? Calling for a formal FCC inquiry into the NFL Super Bowl LX Half Time Show for “indecent content.” Meanwhile, Pam Bondi foamed at the mouth during the judicial hearing trying to get us to move on from child sex trafficking.
The Right seems determined to be torn to shreds by their own rabid beast, Donald Trump. But their crocodile tears are no longer working. The world is uniting against this predatory regime. Valérie Hayer announced an international alliance to fight ICE abuses. Democrats are fighting the DHS budget bill and continue to win special elections, just one seat shy of Leader Hakeem Jeffries.
We must break the Republican monster.

I've never been one to like crime shows. Never. Now I find, if guns come out, I go away. It's my prerogative. NOT INTERESTED. I don't care what the relationships are behind the metal. Love how your financial acumen instructs how you see this evolving and how you elucidate it for us.
