If Mother’s Day is a chance to show love and gratitude for everything mom has been to us, Father’s Day is a chance to honor the DAD JOKE.
Proof? Just look at my favorite dads’ Facebook feeds today.
This was posted by the corniest of all DAD JOKESTERS, my celestial twin, Brian.
Here’s a heartwarming tribute my niece gave to her dad, my brother Steve, one of the best deadpan DAD JOKESTERS there is.
They can dish it out, but they can also take it. This is my childhood BFF LuAnn’s Dad.
Jay Kuo always ends his Saturday Xeets and Giggles post with a great DAD JOKE, but I have to admit, I didn’t understand the one below from yesterday.
A little help? Is the joke that they all answered in their own native tongue-in-cheek?
Last but certainly not least, my goofball dad, Paul Evanoff. For some reason, I’ll never forget the DAD JOKE he made to me. It was corny but also held something deeper.
I was finalizing my a junior high project that I had chosen to do on the Bur Oak Tree. When I ran my story by my dad, I tried to explain why I had chosen that particular subject, to honor the noble bur oak. With a mischievous twinkle in his eye, my dad said, “I think you just like to say bur oak, because it sounds like broke.” Hmmm.🤔
Enjoy the day!
Awww...happy goofball day, Soul sister!! The joke IS in their responses. Because in their response, they are saying, "yes, we see you." XO
Family name certainly depicts you! 😂😂😂
