Bless you for doing this, and your friend Shelly knowing it was the moment to step in! Beautiful story of kindness…. May we all be so ready to step in, step up! 🫶💕☺️
Love what you both did to help this woman. How auspicious to get the little one home to be celebrated by the family on her first birthday. Really inspiring what can be done to lift others and how spirit orchestrates it into happening!
The timing was amazing. It got a little tricky with the requirement of Real ID and she just has a regular drivers license. But because it doesn't expire for a year, she got through security no problem. Crazy times. We must support each now more than ever in my lifetime. Thank you Lisa. 🥰
I am so proud of Lorraine and Shelly my heart just burst wi9th joy for the wy they stepped up and did what ever they could. Lord show me how to give and to help.
Thanks mom! You would have been right there with us. It all happened so fast. I meant to add the amazing quote below to my post. Thanks for reminding me. Love you!
"The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others."
Judith Baker, Lorraine Evanoff and … Louise Moscow: What a beautiful, beautiful, loving rescue!!
I will pause for a moment.
Abuse is truly, truly dark and sick. The abuse elicits vomit, it is so sick.
The little baby, the Mom, the Motherly love for the little person are wondrously beautiful in the way that Mother Nature made them, and the only normal reaction is to love, to cherish, to nurture, to protect.
You and Shelley did the truly natural thing, which is why your love and nurturing actions are so deeply moving and truly beautiful.
Coming from Lorraine Evanoff, I am delighted, not surprised at the love as embodied in beautiful actions of nurture!
Armand! I agree, Shelly and I did the most natural thing. But I give Shelly so much credit for trusting her instincts to jump in at the moment. I give a lot of credit to our bigheartedness to my mom, Judith Baker. She was kind of the neighborhood mom to a lot of us including Shelly's 4 siblings in a lot of ways. Thank you as always for your amazingly keen perspective.🥰💗
Lorraine Evanoff and Judith Baker, with a nod to Louise Moscow . . . and to Floofles: What I meant, not least, was it was natural to the both of you because of the deep goodness of your nature!
You are so wonderful. I can use miles and miles. We all have to move now—and into action against a harmful government. The needy are being abused. By our government. We must protest in the streets until we go down or we oust tyrants. I made 33 protest signs, and will make many more to share. You will see something different in these! Help yourself to this first batch. https://hotbuttons.substack.com/p/free-protest-signs?r=3m1bs
Wonderful, heartfelt story of giving selflessly. Loved being at the protest! I felt like I was walking hand in hand with the people. Thank you Lorraine and Sue for restacking.
On my word! You and your friend are angels. Your compassion and action are examples of how each of us can make a difference by being aware and engaged. It feels helpless and infuriating to watch children starve in Gaza! There is much that we can do, no matter the place, size, or scope, to alleviate suffering that is right in front of us. Bless your boots! 💙💙❤️🌷🥰🐈🐈
Kate, that is such an important point. We feel so helpless about the suffering in Gaza, and the immigrants being lawlessly abused in the USA. I like to think if I encounter ICE or whoever committing criminal acts I would not hesitate to step up. Bless your boots too, sis!🥰
I wouldn't want to be an ICE dude encountering you, just sayin'! 😡
I am happy to say that in a casual conversation, one of my friends and I realized we each had quietly done things to step up support of immigrants. He delayed putting someone he was working with on a particular list, because the person was likely undocumented, and oopsies, he ran out of time to look into it further. Short staffing has its consequences, no?
I told him that I asked a friend to pick up a moving truck from a commercial location, because I did not want one of the crew to have to show ID (which they very well might have had, but I was not going to ask), that would have been required for insurance. Of course, the crew chief knew nothing of it, but after I gave them a glowing review, he said to me, "Boss (lol I kept saying you don't need to call me that, but he had a huge grin and kept it up), we have to give a lot for this country that gives us the opportunity to live and work with dignity. We come with a very clear purpose to comply with the laws, do good and work hard to support this country so that it remains one of the best countries, and count on me to continue taking this country forward." 💖💖
THIS IS what immigration means to our country! So many more like this amongst us every day. Everyone please do what you can to surround them with support and protection from the illegal brownshirt criminal THUGS. Remember, there is nothing stopping them from coming after ANY OF US so we MUST STICK TOGETHER.
The fact that there was a very good Bi-fucking-partisan Border Security and Immigration Reform Bill in 2024, developed by Senators James Lankford (R-OK), Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ), and Chris Murphy (D-CT) that tanked because that big orange puss-bucket mob boss donny told the Rs to kill it so he could make it an election issue and wait to shred the Constitution after interfering with the 2024 election and fixing PA (at the very least), deepens my disgust, hatred, and determination to see him and his cronies self-destruct. Just wait until We The People get our power back with elected officials who have INTEGRITY regardless of party, and start righting all the broken shit this lawless bunch of fucking lowlife nazi scumsuckers have wrought. Double for the SCROTUS 6.
I just know that many of us are doing similar things whenever we can in many situations. Kind of like "Je suis Charlie," we are all in this together. Someone who knows Spanish needs to come up with an equivalent for *all of us humans* who cannot be profiled and kidnapped off the streets like stray dogs! 😡
Beautiful....it is true, even the smallest pivot can make a huge difference. 💖
Agreed. Bless all the helpers Laura.
Bless you for doing this, and your friend Shelly knowing it was the moment to step in! Beautiful story of kindness…. May we all be so ready to step in, step up! 🫶💕☺️
Agreed, timing is everything, Joan. Thank you 🥰

Carl! Thank you for sharing your sign link again! I downloaded some for a previous protest and always appreciate these.
You make my effort worthwhile!
Bless your heart Lorraine.
Floofles knows.
Aww! I never made that connection, but you're right, the kitties always know the true helpers. Thank you Malcolm. 😻
You’re such a Champ ! Bravo’s All Round ! Baby Too ! 🦎🏴☠️❤️
It’s a privilege to help thanks Thomas🙏🏻💙
Wonderful, heartfelt story of giving selflessly. Loved being at the protest! I felt like I was walking hand in hand with the people. Thank you Lorraine and Sue for restacking.
It was a great protest, Lola! May I ask which you attended? If in LA I'd love to meet up one of these times!
You're a light in this current darkness, a fairly awesome example of how to live, and help others live too. Big heart emojis to you and Shelly.
Hey homie! You would have done the same. Love you, Mike!
I would like to think so, and thanks for thinking so too! Love you back!
Thank you for reminding me that small things can make a big difference!
It's the small things, I truly believe that Penny. Thank you for the warm comment 🙏🏻💗
Thank you and Shelly for being such wonderful, helping hands! The world needs more of you. XO
We're in this together, Danielle, thank you!💗
Great story, made my day! Thanks to you and your friend for helping a person in crisis.
Thanks as always for reading and commenting, Kathy. Have a blessed Sunday💗
You and your friend are wonderful! You two changed that mom and baby's life. Great photos from the protest. And good to see Floofles.
Charles! Your warm kind comments are always so uplifting. Thank you!🥰
And you my dear, are gold 💛
Breed!
Bless you and your friend for caring!❤️
Thanks Alana🥰
