I hear you. Practicing daily meditation is great, if you can do it. I know Carville always talks with his bottles all around him as his audience, but I appreciate the way he slices thru sh*t like it's just something that has to be done. I don't think he's blaming the victim in that link I shared. Maybe he does every other day. I was only sharing this one link.
Carville appeal, is for the democratic naïfs left behind the Kremlin’s long standing desire to destroy American democracy! Creating tsuris, chaos and dissent across the country and bankrupting it from within Joirnalisa!!
As you know, the French just cut off the Oligarchs heads… problem solved! Real Americans are getting ready. I just wish I was young, not all crippled up, could walk more than 25 paces, etc, I’d love to be in the first wave 👊🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏😇😁
We’ve been in this thing together for a long time and I’m so glad we’ve been on the right side of justice. I admire you so much. My toots America is gonna stand, it’s been a long while coming, but we’re gonna do it.
And that we do. Folks are waking up and realizing they’ve been complacent and that it could cost terribly. Lorraine and I have been voices for 10 years, probably standing up and making things known that were not popular.
@Lorraine Evanoff, Your breakdown of this entangled web is sharp and unsettling. The connections between oligarchs, propaganda networks, and political power grabs are undeniable, yet so many still refuse to see the pattern—or worse, willingly play along.
What strikes me most is how history keeps looping back on itself, as if we’re watching variations of the same script unfold. The erosion of democracy isn’t sudden; it’s a slow, calculated dismantling, just like before. And yet, as you point out, the tide can turn. People are waking up, and even those who once followed blindly are starting to feel the betrayal.
There’s a long road ahead, but history also shows that systems built on corruption and control don’t last forever. Thanks for laying it out so clearly.
Lorraine you have described their machinations excellently in your books. I read number 3 now. You have spent some time in their head. And so, In this respect, I have nothing to add.
Excellent piece Lorraine! The redux version of the Communications Act, that once required all on air presence to be registered and regulated by FCC law. Wasn’t part of the Telecommunications Act, which left the door open, for the creations described in your article…thanks for sharing!!
Thanks Patrick and thanks for that feedback. The invention of cable news that was and still is exempt from any regulation was the start of the downward spiral into misinformation.
The role of misinformation & disinformation runs deep in this country & how the legacy media aided in it & carried the GOP’s water is bad enough but when people on our own side let that propaganda control their actions & make them act in fear it’s just pathetic & infuriating.
You’re welcome anytime. I catch your work whenever time permits, but the part about fair weather democrats & turning on each other during tough times made me comment. It’s part of the reason why my post about the Kerner Commission emphasized their criticism of the Press, because of their shortcomings & inabilities at being the fourth estate consistently, profits & access be damn.
“The 2008 change was designed to promote consensual appointments and to allow politicians to exert more influence on the identity of Supreme Court judges in the aftermath of the 1995 “constitutional revolution judgment” (Bank Hamizrachi v. Migdal), in which the court asserted that it may strike down Knesset laws that conflicted with the 1992 basic laws on human rights. At the same time, the ability of the judges on the committee to block appointments to the Supreme Court preserved the professional integrity of the institution.”
Thank you Lorraine!! You’ve led me across the threshold of not knowing how to process legal or other jargon- see code- to code cracking and simplifying- this lead was huge for me personally. You’re a superstar and yes again to meditation a must. Here’s one for you I’ve done twice today already. Much love and all blessings to stand united
Lorraine, Lorraine, you laid it all out, and I’m right there with you. The capture of media, courts, and elections wasn’t an accident—it was a strategy decades in the making. And now we’re watching the next phase play out in real time. The question isn’t if democracy is under threat; it’s how much more damage will be done before enough people see it for what it is.
Female voter suppression is a huge piece of this. They’ve already gutted abortion rights and stacked the courts, and now they’re going after the ballot box—because they know exactly who stands in their way. The numbers don’t lie. If they can’t win fairly, they’ll make sure fewer women get to vote at all.
Don't know if you saw James Carville's latest... Quite a concept. Just saw a new doctor and he said that 6 patients this week brought up they are feeling levels of fear and anxiety they've never felt before and it's because of tRump. Thanks for writing this! https://www.nytimes.com/2025/02/25/opinion/democrats-trump-congress.html?unlocked_article_code=1.104.3uPl.lRi7nniDJqUV&smid=url-share
I abhor Carville. He's a major source of anxiety and one of the traitors to force Biden out.
But yes, I'm feeling major anxiety.
I prefer my hero Scott Dworkin.
We both practice daily meditation.
I shut down doomsday pundits blaming democrats. Blaming the victim never works for me.
Why anyone is listening to Carville, floors me as well Lorraine!!
Agreed. He even looks like a crypt keeper. Got away already.

Talks about Carville in your tone of voice
Is this the podcast where Newsom invite MAGA asshole Charlie Kirk because of Guilfoyle? Honestly I don't agree with Newson doing this. WTAF?

You're forever my hero, toots. And you're armed with your vote and your voice!
We’ve been in this thing together for a long time and I’m so glad we’ve been on the right side of justice. I admire you so much. My toots America is gonna stand, it’s been a long while coming, but we’re gonna do it.
We never left. Through massive propaganda and interference, they stole it. Love you toots.
Liberté, égalité, fraternité written on the guillotine explained its purpose Ed!
💙🤍♥️
MAGA wants 1776. I want 1788 France!
Moi aussi!
well Ed we could lean on eachother and we would not be alone.
And that we do. Folks are waking up and realizing they’ve been complacent and that it could cost terribly. Lorraine and I have been voices for 10 years, probably standing up and making things known that were not popular.
Aww! Thanks mom and Ed. You guys are my rocks.
Good to see your substack this evening.
Completely agree.
Thanks, Lorraine.
Thanks for reading and commenting Steve, I'm happy it connect with you🥰

The underlying ruthlessness of the oligarchs is eternal, WLP.
As you point out, all that is left is the opposition holding on until the tide turns even against all their tactics. David and Goliath.
Lorraine you have described their machinations excellently in your books. I read number 3 now. You have spent some time in their head. And so, In this respect, I have nothing to add.
Trying to decide if we should name the hybrid prez Trusk or Mump.
Thanks for noticing I've embraced the dual "Presidency" 😆 I'm leaning toward Trusk.
It’s going to be hard for me to abandon my current favorite monikers for them: Cheeto and Muskrat
Both are equally good
as usual you are completely spot on.
That means so much to me, thank you Larry.🥰

Great point. I should have mentioned that the right captured the news media, 4th estate too! Thanks for reading and commenting, RR!

Wow how cool thank you!
Indeed, Cheat Justice Roberts' SCOTUS has done more damage than anyone to our democracy. 💔🤍💙
I would include Mitch McConnell, Lorraine! Outstanding column 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
