This piece was originally submitted to the PALMER REPORT, but he’s been busy raising hundreds of thousands for Democrats to publish it, so I’m posting it here.

Apologies, I’ve been too busy to submit a piece for three weeks! Honestly, I’ve never been so busy in my life, but it should be worth it, with big announcements coming up.

Meanwhile, Democrats have been busy keeping order in the courts and Kamala Harris is more than ready to represent THE PEOPLE.

Having assembled a senior-level legal team including Marc Elias to oversee hundreds of lawyers and thousands of volunteer poll monitors, the Harris-Walz campaign is prepared for Republican planned interference in our elections and the peaceful transition of power.

Harris’s team is 10 times the size of the operation that got us through Biden’s 2020 win. The team has been working “uninterrupted over the last four years” to successfully get us through the 2024 elections and certification. Preventative measures have already been taken, including winning court battles in Georgia and Mississippi on voter issues, and passing The Election Count Reform Act to help ensure prompt certification of the election results.

The Harris legal team is focused on education and protection to counter voter suppression, especially in swing states. They are helping voters assemble documents proving voter eligibility and to understand overly complicated ballots, while promoting new ballot drop boxes, and overseeing absentee ballot counts.

State and Federal prosecutors have been busy too. Dozens of Republican officials have already faced indictment for 2020 election tampering, which will have a chilling effect on attempts to interfere with the 2024 elections. And now there is a real-life spy thriller playing out in real time. On September 4^th, the DOJ unsealed an indictment implicating 2,800 influencers, including 600 unnamed Americans, who received millions from the Russian “Good Old USA Project” to interfere with the 2024 U.S. elections.

The DOJ named two Russian nationals for conspiracy to violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), and conspiracy to commit money laundering, in a disinformation scheme known as Doppelganger, run by Russia Today (RT) a media outlet funded and controlled by the Russian government. The DOJ shut down 32 fake websites impersonating mainstream media like The Washington Post and Fox Business, that spread anti-Ukraine lies for two years and was now targeting the 2024 U.S. elections.

The FBI affidavit list includes U.S. lawmakers and right-wing influencers like Libs of TikTok who have gone silent, indicating the FBI may have sent out target letters. The timing just 63 days before the election seems to hint at the DOJ’s informal “60-day rule” as a warning to Republicans who voted against certification of the 2020 election.

Ongoing court cases may also implicate Republican officials before the elections. In Trump’s election interference case, Judge Tanya Chutkan ordered Jack Smith to disclose all evidence of Trump’s acts surrounding January 6^th on September 26^th, even implicating Clarence Thomas.

So, the DOJ has stopped a Russian project targeting U.S. “Swing-state residents” to reelect Trump, similar to 2016. Although EU internet providers and UK shell companies are allowing the company behind the project Social Design Agency (SDA) to continue abroad, this should vindicate Merrick Garland. Taking an incremental approach to justice with the goal of leaving our judicial system intact is key.

“When we fight, we win” is the Democratic dog whistle that peacefully addresses Trump’s ongoing incitement to violence, while firing up voters frustrated with years of MAGA chaos. Democratic leaders are prepared, now voters must do our part to give Harris-Walz the landslide needed to carry the House and the Senate along with them. Check your voter registration and VOTE BLUE!

Some important dates coming up. We all need to get on VOTE.GOV to check our registration. If you’re in a swing state know that there are well funded groups whose goal is to challenge 1 million registrations.
