Voter malaise is what led to the situation we're in today. People had better wake up! Love the pics, as always, and please wave to Floofles for me. Happy Mother's Day, all you moms 💙

I'm still in shock at the disastrous turnout for Kamala in 2024 especially in the wake of Dobbs. People got real woken up after that. SMH. Hugs from Floofles and me, Jonji!!

It's still a real SMDH. Thank you, Lolo 🙏🏼

Distressing to read less than 50% voter turnout in midterms. I like that the Pope Appointed 3 anti-trump Bishops but saddened it is even a distinction in the Church. Stopped going to church when the Archbishop of the Washington DC diocese questioned where President Biden should receive communion! That was it for me.

A 50% turnout would be huge in the US though TC. The record is 49% in 1966. It’s just how our electorate is I guess. The church seems to be finally fighting back against MAGA too. It’s about damn time!

Thanks for the hero sum up and I hope more of that comes along in bigger numbers as I am pretty sure it will as more citizens find their ways to enact democracy. Suggestion to Floofles - stay home please♡♡. A thought suggestion to card carrying Republicans- vote for reason and Common Sense and your own pocketbook, defy the gerrymander boundaries and finally do yourselves proud!

The best suggestions ever Robin. Even Floofles sees the logic of your words. Let’s hope republicans stay home too. Or at least vote for common sense 🙏🏻💗

As usual, great photos along with salient commentary. From a purely selfish point of view, I love the 1960s photos, especially “Make Love, not War.” What an exciting time to be young and finally hitting 20 in 1968. We were the people Lewis Powell used as his whipping boys and girls when he wrote that 1971 memo to the

National Chamber of Commerce urging corporate America to take over rulership of the US. We were bad for business. 2 months later, Nixon nominated Powell to be an Associate Justice on the Supreme Court, despite his affiliation with the Democratic Party. He was a corporate lawyer. Been downhill ever since.

Thanks as always for the recent recaps highlighting and reinforcing the Dems key points to highlight. We need to stamp those on our foreheads!! Nice pics-you were a cutie and your parents!! Great job on 14-don't stop now, and STAY GREAT:)

Lorraine Evanoff: One of the funniest lines in political history: "Americans deserve to know if their President is a crook. I am not a crook."

Even at the time, I thought that line was hilarious!

You restate one of Newton's laws up front: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

The GOP "weak on crime" manages to fool the people.

One should be shocked at the ignorance that buys this line, while anti-semitic violence has risen significantly during Trump's last term and during the first year of his second term.

Meanwhile, the GOP keeps Gerrymandering away, while the Roberts Court overrules the Voting Rights Act.

Floofles reacts so lovingly to your calls. The kitty sounds very cute but a little spoiled. Really, all kitties and, for that matter, all families should be spoiled in love.

Speaking of which, I love your family photo album!!
