And to think of all the things that had to happen to bring us here! 😂

I’m in the middle of Pinot Noir! I’m loving it so far. It was been a trough week and it was made easier because I was able to read your book!!

Thank you Amazon for allowing me to read it, even if I can keep it 😂 - Matt has started Foliage so he is hooked now too.

Happy new week lovely lady! (How many languages do YOU speak. I mean Louise is a renaissance woman!! If I could come back as someone else I would want to be HER!

Right? It really is so amazing for me to have found Substack, E. Jean Carroll is the reason I'm here. Her Substack inspired me and I'm so happy I joined.

That's amazing you're delving deeper into Louise Moscow!

There's so much there, so many connections, the new novel is finished. I'd love to send you a copy. Will be in touch on DM if you don't mind. Hugs to you and Matt!

I’m loving Pinot Noir!! You are a talented young lady!! I’m wondering how much of Lulu is put into Louise? Do you speak that many languages? Yoga? I know you are a lefty… so is this You in the novels? Maybe not the circumstances etc but I see a lot of what I know you in her! Bravo!!

I had a response that I started to share, much like calcium signaling between plants. Then I heard Paul McCartney in my head singing “let it be.” Therefore, I will only say, and with sincerity, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY.

Just watched the little doc, and loved it! Wish I knew your mom. She is wonderful. I love her voice, her spirit, her philosophy. I kept wondering how you both would remove all the paint from your faces, but that's just the way I am. 🤣 Thank you for making this - it's tender, poignant, and honest. 🩷

Thank you thank you thank you Grace!!

Ha ha ha! It was just acrylic water based paint, came right off.

But I love that moment in the film where my mom just starts painting her face, the audience at a screening we did audibly gasped. 😆

Yes! I didn't expect that at all! I have to also mention that I watched this while sitting out on my deck. Remember how your mom talked about watching the cardinals eat the sunflower seeds? Right at that moment a beautiful male cardinal landed on my feeder and just stared at me! It was amazing synchronicity.

And your comment about misophonia... I have that! I am so sensitive and annoyed by certain sounds, and have been all my life.

I am so glad I watched your film.

NO. WAY. That's truly magical. I just got chills.

Re misophonia, did you see one of my first Substack posts? Here you go.

It's such a struggle, I'm so happy we connected!

Exactly. I always felt like such a bad person but I was literally tortured by misophonia.

Wow. I love your mom. I love her originality, her voice, her strength, her determination to express herself and heal her hurts, and most of all, her survival instincts. She has certainly got them. She's aware of the world around her. I have gained much from watching this today, on the 4th anniversary of my mom not being around on mother's day. My mom was timid about her expressions in public. Can I adopt your mom? I will watch this again from time to time to see if I can inherit some of those descriptions I used above! Thank you for sharing Lorraine. What a gift and how beautifully you created it, in time for today. Much appreciated and will go into my diary. I really loved this!

I have been waiting to see this! Can't wait to sit and savor.

"But as we get older, we realize that what made us weird is now our super power." A greater truth was never said. We are who we are not only because of the lessons we chose but the people we chose to learn them with as well.

All I've got to say (based on what little I know of you and having not yet watched the film) is that your Mom must be something very special.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers and daughters - here and in spirit. You are the stuff of dreams and our hope for the the future. HUGS!

I write a lot about my mother, mostly because she works my last nerve the way only a mother can. Truly though that woman is my #1 fan and always first to subscribe to whatever it is I’m doing. Really love that you shared this and can’t wait to see the finished product.
